Meg Cabot
Meg Cabot was born during the Chinese astrological year of the Fire Horse, a notoriously unlucky sign, but learned at an early age that a good storyteller can always give herself a happy ending. Her books for both adults and tweens/teens have included multiple #1 New York Times bestsellers, selling over sixteen million copies worldwide. Her Princess Diaries series has been published in more than 38 countries and was made into two hit films by Disney. Meg's numerous other award-winning books include Avalon High (on which an original Disney Channel movie was based), the Mediator series, and Allie Finkle's Rules for Girls. Her first adult paranormal romance, Insatiable, as well as its sequel, Overbite, are in stores now, along with Abandon, a new YA paranormal series (the sequel, Underworld, will be in US stores in May 2012). Look for Size 12 and Ready to Rock (the next installment of the Heather Wells mystery series) in July 2012. Meg Cabot (her last name rhymes with habit, as in "her books can be habit forming") currently lives in Key West with two cats and her husband, who doesn't know he married a fire horse. Please don't tell him!
